The Little Britches Youth Association (LBYA) holds a series of 8 rodeos in Kiowa, Colorado each year for our cowboys and cowgirls, ages 6 through 18.  Contestants are divided into age groups. There are six divisions;   Pee Wee Girls, Pee Wee Boys, Junior Girls, Junior Boys, Senior Girls and Senior Boys.

Points are accumulated through the 8-week series for top honors. 

We have educational meetings and functions for the members throughout the year.  We strive to build sportsmanship, responsibility and provide an enjoyable family pastime for everyone involved.

LBYA has been benefiting the youth of Elbert, Douglas, Arapahoe and numerous surrounding counties for over 30 years.  With the extensive growth of population in this area, our organization has grown to a membership level of over 200 youth participants today.

LBYA is a non-profit organization, organized under section 501© (3) of the Internal Revenue code, run entirely by the parents and members who volunteer to promote junior rodeo.

The aim and purpose of LBYA is directed toward the interest of the western-minded youth. This non-profit  organization is a wholesome youth program with sufficient community interest and enough enthusiasm to support it.
